Bridge Street staff is working hard mapping out meaningful units in anticipation of the 2021-2022 school year!

Each month, Bridge Street Middle School will be highlighting one of our amazing staff members in our “teacher features.” This month, as we continue to get students scheduled, we decided there was no one better to feature than our phenomenal school counselor, Mrs. Rose.
Mrs. Rose is a proud 2005 Wheeling Park High School graduate. She went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree from Marshall University in 2010 majoring in Counseling, and minoring in Psychology and History. I’m 2012, Mrs. Rose earned her MA in School Counseling.
Mrs. Rose is starting her 5th year at BSMS. She truly loves her job: “I love being a school counselor because I’m a natural helper; I love that my job allows me to get to know students on a more personal level and be helpful.” Mrs. Rose’s students are grateful for the impact she has had on their lives, many still keeping in touch with her years later!
Her favorite part about working at BSMS?
“I love how BSMS truly is a family. It’s a great feeling waking up each morning and going to a building that is so comfortable. I work with great people and students.”
Mrs. Rose has been married to her husband, Adam for 11 years. They actually met as students at Wheeling Park High School! “We have two boys, Parker is 7, and Brody is 4 and two dogs Malkin and Mazy.” In Mrs. Rose’s free time, she enjoys going to Oglebay, swimming, and taking walks with her family in their neighborhood.
