This week


Congratulations to Mr. Lowther and his Street Industry, Gardening, who were one of twenty one schools in the state to receive the NASA Space Grant “Plant the Moon” Challenge! BSMS Gardening students will develop and conduct plant growth experiments with lunar soil similar to assist NASA scientists in understanding how to use lunar soil to provide crops for future missions to the Moon!



Mr. Dague’s classes are focused on energy today! All students are on the ground making predictions using the size of each pumpkin, and with the help of our custodians and PRO, participating in this year’s pumpkin drop!

Mrs. Beighle took her FLEX class outside today to look for interesting items that they will chart and translate into the following languages: Spanish, French and Mandarin. FLEX is a course that focuses on the cultures, traditions and basics of the languages listed above. Mrs. Beighle and her students had a great time, found a variety of items and look forward to the charting and translating portion of the project tomorrow!




BSMS seventh grade students are weighing and measuring pumpkins in preparation of Friday’s pumpkin drop. We want to thank Mr. Dague for the time he consistently takes to create these meaningful and engaging opportunities for BSMS students!
