This week, 7th grade students are piloting a new program for the Challenger Learning Center. This in-house simulation focuses on the health risks that are present with natural disasters, such as earthquakes, floods, volcanic eruptions, hurricanes, and tornados.

BSMS students added to the school’s “I Have a Dream” bulletin board to share their own personal goals and dreams during this Black History Month.


Mrs. Beighle’s Careers class had a special guest speaker today, our very own BSMS Choral Director and General Music teacher, Mrs. Schultz! The students learned that the path to career isn’t always straight but in the end you end up in great places!



Mrs. Gray and Mr. Ray’s classes are finding author’s examples of detailed writing using five senses.

Mr. Lowther’s BSMS Gardening Street Industry is in phase one of their “Plant tbe Moon” phase and has begun by planting arugula! Next step, relocate the arugula to different growing materials in the hydroponics system!
