BSMS Education Street Industry taught a kindergarten lesson focused on literacy today!
From 1-2 this afternoon, BSMS faculty participated in TeacherCon. These sessions were requested by staff and led by staff, and included a variety of topics like project based learning, movement and art in the general education classroom, and personalized learning resources.
A great day to celebrate some great kids! Our first nine week PBIS trip was an awesome success! A huge shout out to the YMCA and Mrs. Vickers for planning this!
Our halls are filled with pink! Students raised money this week for the Heather Schultz Memorial Scholarship fund.

BSMS students attended the Explore Academy program at Northern Community College. The students learned about East Coast Metal Systems, Consol Innovative, and WVNCC!
It was a great day for the arts at Bridge Street!
Due to a grant from Ohio County Schools Foundation, instructors from Oglebay Institute, Tim Thompson, Cheryl Pompeo, and Brad Johnson will visit Bridge Street quarterly to offer Theater, Art, and Dance classes to interested BSMS students at no cost. Today was our first session, and over 80 students took a class!
